Brandi Tiner, DDS
Brandi Tiner, DDS - Dentist
Dr. Brandi Tiner is a well travelled Texan. She was born in Axtell but grew up in Odessa. Then she went on to College Station to become an Aggie at Texas A&M University with not one, but two BS degrees in Biomedical Science and Nutritional Science-Dietetics. Dr. Tiner continued her education at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, graduating in 2002 with a DDS.
Armed with her medical license, Dr. Tiner served at Fort Bliss, right here in El Paso. She then went on private practice at a general dentist office. But something just wasn't right. She was wondering if being a dentist maybe wasn't for her since going to the office seemed like a job versus her passion.
After refection, she realized she loved dentistry, but it was helping kids that she was truly loved. That is when Dr. Tiner decided to join EP Dentistry 4 Kids in 2012.
It is no surprise that she was drawn to working with kids since she has 6 of her own.
Favorite Food Like any native of Texas, Dr. Tiner loves her enchiladas.
Secret Skill Dr. Tiner is a great cook. If you are looking for a delicious meal, ask for her lamb with chimichurri recipe. It is fancy and delicious.
Pet Lover The Tiner household doesn't only have six kids, but three dogs as well.
Lewis Cook, DDS
Lewis Cook, DDS - Dentist
Dr. Lewis Cook grew up in Kansas City, MO. Growing up with Kansas City BBQ, he is always conflicted by which BBQ he likes best: his native Kansas City or his adopted Texas.
He graduated from The University of Missouri Kansas City Dental School in 2006 with his DDS. He also went on to obtain an (AEGD) residency from UMKC. He became a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2009 and earned a Masters in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University.
There are many reasons Dr. Cook enjoys being a kids dentist At EP Dentistry 4 Kids, but one of his favorites is running into his former patients that are all grown up with their smiles looking great.
Away from the office, Dr. Cook enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids.
Favorite Movie Inception. Every now and then he has to spin a top just to make sure...

Favorite Hobby He will tell you it is golfing, but secretly, it is dancing. Ask him to make a Tik Tok at your next appointment.
Christopher Lind, DMD
Christopher Lind, DMD - Dentist
Dr. Christopher Lind grew up in the beautiful mountain community of Lehi, UT. He went to attend Utah Valley University in 2006. He decided he wanted to become a dentist and moved on to dental school at the University of Las Vegas where he received his DMD in 2010.
After graduation, he served in Army at Ft. Bliss in El Paso. Afterwards he joined the team at EP Dentistry 4 Kids but remained in the US Army Reserves with the 143rd Dental company based at Ft. Douglas in Salt Lake City, UT.
Many patients know Dr. Lind as Dr. Elmo due to his perfect Elmo impersonation. He finds using silly voices helps kids relax during their trip to the dentist.
Dr. Lind was awarded Best of the Best's Best Dentist recognition.
When away from the office, Dr. Lind stays busy with his family. He has six kids plus two grandkids (and counting!)

Jennifer Wu, DDS
Jennifer Wu, DDS - Dentist
Dr. Jennifer Wu grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. She was interested in healthcare, but she wasn’t sure on the specifics.
She did her undergraduate studies at the University of California at Davis majoring in Microbiology. After graduation she did research for vaccines, but realized her passion involved having a more direct relationship with people. So she decided to become a dentist.
Dr Wu attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco where she earned her DDS degree.
Dr. Wu believes in delivering dental treatment to children in a manner that fosters their personal growth. She advocates non-traumatic treatment wholeheartedly and believes that positive experience in the dental home are the first steps to a lifetime of good oral health. She can often be heard singing “The Itsy Bitsy Spider” and “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” to her youngest patients.
One of her favorite things about being a dentist is getting to know her patients (and their families) over the years and watching them grow into confident, calm, and happy dental patients.
Dr. Wu was voted the best dentist in El Paso by The City Magazine.
Favorite Food According to Dr. Wu there is nothing better than chicken tikka masala.
Favorite Movie Soul. If she had her way it would be playing in the office every day.

Justine Miranda, DMD
Justine Miranda, DMD - Dentist
Dr. Justine Miranda grew up right here in El Paso, TX. Initially she thought she wanted to be a nurse and went to the University of Texas at El Paso and graduated with a nursing degree.
While working as a pediatric nurse, it became apparent that not many of her patients understood the link between oral and systemic health. After several years of nursing, she decided it was her mission to help patients bridge the knowledge gap on how good dental care can help patients lead healthier lives.
She enrolled in the dental school at Roseman University of Health Sciences and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. She graduated with many awards including the International College of Dentists Student Humanitarian Award and Distinguished Professionalism and Ethics Award.
From her pediatric nursing days, she knew she wanted to focus on working with kids. This way she could teach kids good oral hygiene habits that would last a lifetime.
Dr. Miranda combines her mom and dental skills to create a lighthearted environment that helps both kids and parents relax. She is armed with an arsenal of mom jokes that kids seem to find funnier than the adults which she doesn't mind. She also is quite fond of singing songs from Frozen and doesn’t take too much prompting to belt out a tune.
She is a member of the American Dental Association.
Favorite Hobby Dr. Miranda loves to travel and explore cuisine. She really enjoyed the beauty and adventure of Ko Samui, Thailand but the food in Lyon, France can’t be beat.
Dental Tip Start brushing your child's teeth as soon as the first one erupts. This will help make great oral hygiene just part of their routine.
Volunteer In dental school she cofounded an organization that provided free dental care to families with low incomes..
Artur Sarkisyan, DMD
Artur Sarkisyan, DMD - Dentist
Dr. Artur Sarkisyan was born in Azerbaijan off the Caspian Sea. He moved to the United States and grew up in California. He went on to attend UC Irvine where he earned his Bachelor of Sciences Degree.
However, Dr. Sarkisyan always knew he would be a doctor. He loved working with is hands and science and math naturally came to him. He decided that dentistry was his calling. He went on to attend dental school at Western University of Health Science in Southern California where he earned his D.M.D. degree.
Dr. Sarkisyan finds it very rewarding to be treating children and get them out of pain. There is no greater satisfaction than restoring their smile back to what it was before. He feels the most humbling feeling is when he finishes an extensive treatment plan, and the child says 'thank you doctor'.
Dr. Sarkisyan is an active member of the American Dental Association.
Favorite Food Dr. Sarkisyan can't deny he loves In-n-Out. The Double-Double is just too good.
Favorite Book Catcher in the Rye. Loved it as a teenager and still loves it.
Pets You may be surprised, but Dr. Sarkisyan has two cats: Charlie and Eevee.
Paul David Perez, DDS
Paul David Perez, DDS - Dentist
Dr. Paul David Perez was born in San Francisco, CA. He grew up a little south of there in San Jose.
He grew up as a foster child. By experiencing the challenges many kids in foster have, he knew he wanted to be able to help others when he grew up. He didn't quite know how exactly, but he knew he wanted to be part of the solution.
He went to CS Hayward and earned a degree in Biology. With his strong need to give back, Dr. Perez joined the Marines. While enlisted he went on to get his Masters in Biology. It was also during this period he discovered his passion. He realized he wanted to become a dentist.
After his service he earned his DDS at the CS San Francisco. As a doctor, Dr. Perez has looked for opportunities to help others which brought him to EP Dentistry 4 Kids. He feels by helping parents understand their role in their chilren's dental health, he can help set kids up for a life time of smiles.
Dr. Perez is an active member in the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentists.
When away from the office, Dr. Perez enjoys spending time with his wife, kids and the family dog, Soliel.
Favorite Meal Forrest Gump. Dr. Perez believes life really is like a box of chocolates.
Favorite Artist Mark Anthony. He especially loves to grab his wife and dance to his salsa hits.
Best Dental Tip Start the day brushing and end the day with brushing and flossing. (And say no to junk food as much as possible).
Korrey Shin, DDS
Korrey Shin, DDS - Dentist
Born in Seoul, South Korea, and raised on Long Island, New York, Dr. Shin's journey in dentistry began with a strong academic foundation. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Binghamton University before pursuing his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at NYU College of Dentistry.
A dedicated professional, Dr. Shin is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and was honored with membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society recognizing outstanding academic achievement.
Dr. Shin chose dentistry as his career because it allows him to make a significant impact on others' lives while also providing for his family. His passion for helping people is matched by his love for working with children. He finds joy in their enthusiasm and stories, and their smiles are a constant source of inspiration for him.
His dental tip is to brush gently with soft bristles, and aim for the gumline, where the bacteria like to live.
